How to download a Facebook video
- 01
Copy the video link
Click Share under the video and choose Copy link. In the app, tap Share → Copy link.
- 02
Paste it into ClipNest
Paste the link into the box above and press Download.
- 03
Pick HD or SD
Choose the size you want, or MP3 for the audio. The file saves to your Downloads folder.
Save Facebook videos the easy way
Facebook has no download button for most videos, and saved items only live inside the app. ClipNest turns a public video link into a normal MP4 you can watch offline, keep in your archive or share with family who aren't on Facebook.
Which Facebook videos work
- Public posts from people, pages and public groups.
- Watch videos and longer uploads, in HD where Facebook offers it.
- Live replays once the broadcast has ended and the replay is public.
- Reels – there is a separate Facebook Reels downloader for those.
Videos in private groups, friends-only posts and Messenger can't be downloaded, because they need your Facebook login and ClipNest never asks for it.
HD, SD or MP3?
HD gives the sharpest picture, up to 1080p on the website, while SD is smaller and quicker on mobile data. MP3 is handy for talks, sermons and music videos when you only need the sound.
